Rebecca serves as a Senior Associate, Programs supporting program management and oversight for a portfolio of NTD programs, including management and oversight of DIF investments in Kenya.
Prior to joining The End Fund, Rebecca worked at the National AIDS Control Council (NACC), Kenya in charge of the national HIV adolescent and youth program. She has over 5 years’ experience in both research and program implementation having specifically worked on HIV/AIDS and Sexual Reproductive Health programming, policy development, program management and multi-sectoral coordination at national and subnational level.
She also has experience in behavioral science research and the application of behavioral science solutions for public health. She has previously worked with Final Mile on designing interventions for COVID-19 Vaccine Hesitancy in Kenya, Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire, and Pakistan using psycho-behavioral segmentation. She has a passion for person-centered health solutions.
Rebecca is pursuing her Masters in Global Health Policy at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She received her BSc. from the University of Nairobi, where she studied Microbiology and Biotechnology.
In her free time, Rebecca enjoys training at the gym and hosting family and friends at her home when she’s not trying out new restaurants in Nairobi. She also loves to read and take long scenic drives out of town.
