Mireille is the Vice President, Investor Relations at the END Fund. She provides high-level strategy, guidance, and execution for resource mobilization initiatives in line with the organization’s strategic vision, commitment to exemplary stewardship, and relational approach.
Mireille expands the community of visionary and engaged philanthropists, foundations, and corporations to increase fundraising opportunities and engagements, all in service of the organization’s aspiration to free hundreds of millions of people from the burden of NTDs by 2030.
With over two decades of experience in the international development and humanitarian sector, Mireille has held leadership positions in global health and sustainable development in multi-country, complex programs around the world. She began her career on the project leadership team of a 16-country, $120 million USAID child survival project. As Executive Director, she expanded a global asset-based community development foundation to partner with over 250 community-based organizations and over 40 academic institutions. More recently, Mireille led the growth of the International Rescue Committee’s global portfolio to over $550 million in new awards and support annually, as VP, Donor Engagement. Prior to joining the END Fund, Mireille served as Vice President, Development at CWS.
Mireille also holds extensive experience with NTDs, including leading external relations and outreach efforts for a non-profit pharmaceutical company, the Institute for OneWorld Health. She played a key role with research, supply chain, and government partners that led to the inclusion of a treatment for visceral leishmaniasis in the Government of India’s national disease prevention and control program. Mireille developed NTD awareness-building activities and represented iOWH’s work in VL and other NTDs in global fora and with international media, including BBC World’s Best Documentary of 2007, Kill or Cure: Kala Azar 2.
Having taught community participatory development at university level and served as an advisor for the Clinton Global Initiative University and AshokaU for many years, Mireille enjoys mentoring students and young professionals pursuing studies and careers in international development. She holds a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies (Biology/Humanities) from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and was a Fellow at the Center for Strategic & International Studies in Washington, D.C.
Mireille enjoys spending her free time with family and nature, and lives with her chef husband, teen daughter, and several four-legged family members in New Jersey.
