Kate originally joined the END Fund in early 2016 as an Executive Assistant. Currently she serves as Director, Strategy & Operations. In this role, she is an integral member of the team managing the END Fund’s grant portfolio from proposal to reporting stages. Kate is constantly striving to improve the organization’s management of donor funds to ensure the best possible stewardship.
Prior to becoming a member of the END Fund team, she worked with Eskolta School Research and Design to help address the dropout crisis in public education. In previous roles, Kate was a mediator with the New York Attorney General’s Office, advocated for fair financial and banking policies, had a stint in online journalism, and even worked ever-so-briefly in urban planning in Barcelona.
Kate received her Bachelor’s from the University of Pennsylvania where she majored in Political Science and Communication and Public Service, and is currently completing her Master’s of Public Administration from NYU Wagner. Outside of the office you can find her working on home improvement projects with a mid-century modern twist, catching a broadway show, leading her team to victory at trivia night, and testing out new baked goods on willing colleagues.
