Jamie serves as a Senior Associate, Public Affairs. He engages with external stakeholders in the neglected tropical disease (NTD) sector to promote the END Fund’s contributions to important policy setting moments such as the 2022 Malaria and NTD summit in Rwanda. He also supports the efforts of the END Fund to increase the impact of pharmaceutical donations across the NTD sector, while contributing to organizational thought leadership and content creation.
Prior to joining the END Fund, Jamie worked for Malaria Consortium in the capacity of Policy and Advocacy Manager. In this role, he was responsible for determining the direction and targets of Malaria Consortium’s advocacy with the primary aim of influencing policy change on the prevention, control and treatment of malaria and other communicable diseases. He worked closely with multiple global health and disease networks, as well as program teams across the Sahel, sub-Saharan Africa and South East Asia. Jamie has also previously worked in management consulting, policy institutes, humanitarian organizations and research centers in several countries.
Jamie graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with an MSc in International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies and also holds a BA in Modern History and Economics from the University of Manchester. Outside of work, Jamie enjoys weightlifting and traveling to new countries whenever he can. He is also gradually but diligently doing his best to learn Spanish.
