Crystal joined The END Fund in September 2022 and serves as an Associate, Investor Relations. In this role, she supports the day to day activities related to executing the organization’s strategic fundraising goals that advance the global fight against neglected tropical diseases.
Prior to joining the END Fund, Crystal was serving as a consultant for the operations team at Luminate Group, a global foundation engaged in governance and citizen engagement issues. Her role was to provide internal documentation for staff reference to contribute to a culture of information sharing and operational discipline.
Previously, she worked in different capacities in creative and corporate communications; she was the lead fashion writer and researcher at BEDA Magazine, a staff writer at ePreneur Kenya, and an editorial intern at True Love East Africa Magazine. She also has bylines in local and global publications. In addition, Crystal worked as an e-commerce writer for global copy shop, CopySmiths.
Crystal has a B.A Communications (Print Media) from Daystar University. In her free time, she enjoys visiting art galleries and cooking hearty meals for her family and friends in Nairobi, Kenya, where she lives with her cat, Mushu.
