In 2007, the Legatum Foundation, one of the founding investors in the END Fund, first invested in a pilot program for NTDs in Rwanda. Between 2008-2017, almost 52 million generously donated treatments were delivered valued at over $2.7 million. This treatment led to a 30% decrease in the prevalence of intestinal worms between 2008 to 2014.
